Position: .NET Developer
Info Trade Group has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer.
Info Trade Group is an online company that connects technology users in need of assistance with a remote technician workforce via leading-edge screen sharing and web applications. We harbor a strong emphasis on building core technologies in-house (such as our content management system and ticket management system), and currently employ a small but stellar team of developers to build and maintain these applications.
Info Trade Group is entering an exciting time as several large partnerships are scheduled to begin. Along with this volume growth we are investing heavily in unique, ground breaking technology projects, in which this position would be heavily involved.
Primary Responsibilities include:
* Design and implement component-based mini-applications using .NET platform
* Contribute to the development principles, standards, and programming guidelines
* Tune performance, troubleshoot and fix software defects
Key Competencies:
* Minimum 2 years of OS software development experience with at least 3 years hands-on MS experience and 1 year .NET (C#) experience
* A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
* Experience in writing effective Use Cases and Software Requirement documentation
* Ability to work within deadlines
* Ability to work independently while cooperating with the overall team
* Ability to focus on priorities, and exhibit enthusiasm for creating high-quality software products
* Can operate well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Quick learner able to take ownership over parts of software with little supervision
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education/experience
Key Technical Competencies:
* Languages: C#, SQL, HTML, CSS. Knowledge of javascript, or other scripting language is a plus
* Experience with Microsoft application servers and standards
* Very strong understanding of database design principles and best practices using Microsoft SQL Server 2000
* Understanding of XML, XSLT, DTD/XML Schema standards
* Familiarity with Web Services is a PLUS
* Familiarity with emerging web technologies such as AJAX are a PLUS
* Previous experience with search engine technologies and APIs is a strong PLUS
