"IT Squad" Technical Advisors are available 7 days a week.
Can "IT Squad" fix any technology or computer-related problem?
We try our hardest and most of the time we are successful. However, there have been times when we get puzzled. If this happens, you will not be charged for your ‘Help Session’.
What is ‘remote accessing’ and how does it work?
"IT Squad" uses a technology similar to that used by many corporate help desks. It is an innovative Internet based technology that lets us help you by sharing your computer with you. You will be able to watch as we access your mouse and solve your problem. This is the fastest, easiest way for "IT Squad" to solve your technology problem and get you up and running again. It’s as if we are sitting right next to you.
Is ‘remote accessing’ safe?
"IT Squad"’s remote accessing technology is 100% safe. You can watch "IT Squad" share your mouse and cancel our session at any time. Also, once our session is over, "IT Squad" can never again access your computer without your permission. "IT Squad" may also record “remote accessing” sessions for training and quality control purposes.
Can I use ‘remote accessing’ if I have dial-up internet access?
Yes, but for optimal results, a broadband connection is preferred.
Does "IT Squad" provide in-home service?
What if I need someone to come to my house?
"IT Squad" is committed to solving your technology problem. If we can not help you remotely, and if you reside in Salt Lake City, UT metro area, yes we will be able to send a field "IT Squad" specialist to help you, if you request on site service. Extra charges may apply.
If you don't reside in Salt Lake City, UT metro area, we will help you find someone to provide in-home service. Luckily, almost all problems can be solved without requiring an in-home on site visit.
Can "IT Squad" help me with my Apple computer?
"IT Squad" supports the Apple iPod, but does not currently support MAC OS X.
How long is my "Help Session" good for if I don’t use it when it’s purchased?
We know you can’t predict when you may need help, therefore, your help session will never expire.
How long is a "Help session"?
We don't know how long it will take to fix your problem. But most of the issues can be fixed in less than 45 minutes.
If however you have more than one issue to fix, or you need more time with an "IT Squad" specialist, we will be there for as long as is need it.
In this case extra charges will apply at a rate of only $ 24.99 / hour, and only with your approval and only at your special request.
